I love the unique pieces and it feels so unique to put together
Andrea
This puzzle was absolutely worth the money. I found Puzzle Lab by mistake on the last night of our cruise. I spent more than expected and I do not regret it one bit. The puzzle was harder than expected, which is always a nice surprise for me. The orca shape for each piece is so unique and definitely made this extremely enjoyable! I cannot wait to get another puzzle from Puzzle Lab.
Brittany S.
A fun and challenging puzzle. I definitely needed to refer to some of the review photos to finish the top part as the pink and orange sky is difficult! Minus a star because the pieces can be a bit easy to break if you aren’t super careful. I’m usually very careful, but I can’t say the same for my family members lol
Marc K.
Having a finished image on the website would be useful. As I’ve assembled it, the top and bottom have a different segmentation. Perhaps this is expected, or maybe I deviated from the original design. Regardless, everything fit.
Roger A.
It made my brain sweat
Karen J.
Challenging but so satisfying to finish !
Lyndsay P.
Had a great time doing this puzzle! The design is beautiful and making the orca pieces fit together was a fun challenge.
May H.
Very fun and satisfying!
Maria L.
Not only is this puzzle phenomenally beautiful, it’s also for a good cause! Thank you Puzzle Lab for helping conserve coastal wildlife and also bringing such wonderful artwork into our home!
Josephine M.
I am saving this puzzle as a reward for finishing & submitting my taxes.
Attira
Love this puzzle!! Definitely a challenge!
Sheila J.
It took me a while to figure out how these all the same puzzle pieces fit together, but it made for an enjoyable challenge.
Craig P.
Challenging but enjoyable
Christian L.
These are the coolest puzzles ever. I want all of them now.
Charles R.
I gave this as a Christmas gift to my daughter. She is looking forward to the challenge.

Beautiful puzzle. Love the tessalation cut
Donnie W.
Fun for all the family!
Susan E.
I love wooden puzzles and am always looking for innovative designs and cuts. This puzzle fits the bill, and it is beautiful. When the puzzle came I noticed several chips and image problems with my copy. Puzzle Lab responded promptly and resolved the problem. I appreciate Puzzle Lab's business practices and ecological conscientiousness
Suzanne M C.
We did this puzzle as a family and it was so much fun. Anything that keeps my kids off and screen and makes all of us smile is awesome. I love the puzzle shapes!
ANN A.
VERY WELL MADE PIECES AND VIVID COLORS, IT WAS A GIFT AND HE ENJOYED THE CHALLENGE.
Laura P.
Le vendeur dans le magasin est très gentil et serviable.
Le magasin en lui même est très beau!
Les puzzles sont de très bonne qualité et magnifiques.
Le service de livraison à domicile assure un bon suivi et la livraison s'est bien passée :)
Merci!

This was a gift for avid puzzle solvers. I will be stepping itr up on my next purchase.
Cynthia C.
so creative and so much fun..and a real challenge!
Valerie H.
Great, pretty easy but challenging all at the same time. Great puzzle experience
Greg F.
The pieces are all essentially the same shape - requires alternate strategies for solution.
This is a wonderful product and an amazing image.
Betty C.
My daughter's family loved putting it together!
thanks so much

I've given it as a gift and they loved doing it.
JEROME S.
It was a Christmas gift and the recipient was thrilled with this very unique puzzle.
Looks forward to the challenge of putting this puzzle together.
Alan H.
It was more difficult than we thought it would be.
Robert P.
So beautiful, thank you very much,
God bless.

Very fun but challenging puzzle!
Gabriele S.
Super fun challenge!

I’m having a hard time with the top edge
Took me some time to get it completed

The good the bad and the ugly-
The good, a highly challenging puzzle that took two persistent people to complete and give a huge sigh of relief.
The bad, since so many pieces fit together perfectly in the wrong place it makes it even harder.
The ugly, all of the images of the finished piece are misleading.
The image on the box cover shows edges that are not part of the puzzle. The image on the artists description is yet another version and the piece on the folding piece inside is yet another version. Please correct the image on the cover at least. Our completed version is attached as well as what you put out as the completed puzzle. The completed version here is just from a cell phone but if you would like a perfect version let me know. I am a professional photographer and graphic artist so it would be easy, and your customers would be much happier with Puzzle Labs.

This was my first Puzzle Lab puzzle. Took me awhile to figure out the strategy, but once I did it went together fairly well. Beautiful art, loved the all wood pieces, and a great challenge!
Erin T.
Love the unique design! The smokey smell of the wood really lingered which was a nice touch. Some pieces of the design were quite delicate, so be careful placing and unhooking the pieces!
Ted R.
It took a while - about 7 hours in total- and I'm still not convinced the top few rows are correct where there are subtle changes in the colour of the sky.
One word of caution - I managed to break a little 'peg' off from one piece as they are relatively fragile although a touch of wood glue seems to have done the trick.
Mitch M.
Truly unique puzzle!
Laura B.
This was challenging. And I do love a good challenge!
Jeff B.
This was a beautiful puzzle. We enjoyed the unique pieces and the challenge that it posed for a puzzle. We were also happy to support the cause!
Robert A.
I've been a puzzler my whole life, and absolutely love this puzzle! The quality, the art, the story behind the making of each design, the chili peppers -- it makes me want to visit the shop from thousands of miles away! I cannot wait to order another one!
John L.
The quality of the puzzle itself was outstanding and clever. It was very fun and challenging to do! We did have some concerns. The finished edges were disjointed in appearance. The pictures on the box and such did not match the edges. The colors near the top were difficult to discern differences between them.
Keren S.
Great idea in theory yet curious if anyone succeeded in puzzling these orcas together..I wasted many days with no reward just the dizzying scent of burnt wood and knowledge of supporting a great cause.I may gift this to a frenemy..lol.
Wendy O.
I was so excited to purchase this wood, sustainable puzzle where every piece is shaped like an Orca but was nervous at the 4 pepper rating, not knowing what that meant. This puzzle was the right amount of challenge. You need to focus on the smallest details (like in the water or the sky) but yet is relatively simple to complete. My plan is to frame it like they do in the store, but I think I need to complete it another time or two before turning it into wall art. I highly recommend this puzzle to anyone.
Tom I.
As this was a gift, I can't personally say anything about the puzzle. But, six hours after opening it, our daughter was still at it! That speaks volumes about the puzzle, the picture (an Orca), and the overall quality. Oh, and the side gig of helping others through this purchase - golden!
John S.
The puzzle is a real challenge. But at some point you realize that not all the pieces are shaped identically and there are 3-4 different shapes. This leads you to learn which are the edge pieces. Then focusing on the sky-to-mountain color line, the black and gray orca pieces and the tree silhouettes gives you some sections to work on. Sometimes you realize that one piece seems to fit but isn't quite right. Then you must seek out the similar piece to swap them and the puzzle then works out properly. Eventually it all comes together and you get to enjoy the painting.
Leland L.
Very, very intricate puzzle with ALL pieces shaped like Orcas. Incredibly difficult to finish.
Ted M.
Another happily received gift :)
Mary C.
Working with the orca shapes was both frustrating and rewarding. It was a great challenge.
Andy M.
What a cool puzzle! There was a bit of a learning curve but it was very fun and a bonus is that the wood pieces smell great!
Obviously it is an expensive product, with our budget it was appropriate for a special gift. The nice box and bag for the pieces will help us keep it all together for years of enjoyment.
Catherine A.
There are only 200 pieces...but that was MORE than enough! Loved doing this puzzle...the whole family helped out.
Really unique gift.
Rachel B.
I visited your store when I came over from the UK to visit my daughter who now lives in Vancouver. I loved the store and was then delighted to get the puzzle for Christmas when she came over for Christmas. It’s time -consuming and addictive! You think you have the piece , then look again and realise it’s not quite right! Brilliant detail and an excellent tine-waster. I’m loath to lend it to family and friends, but they are keen to have a go at it. I know I’ll be buying another one for myself when I come over to visit this year! I’ll get another 4 chilli one , but one day I’m up for the 5 chilli challenge! Thank you!
Sylvia P.
The idea of the puzzle is better than the execution. It’s goes together beautifully. Unto you get to the sky. I changed the pieces over and over and it still didn’t look right. The yellow and pink pieces look wrong And after to talking to someone ekes who had bought it they had the same problem. It’s a shame it’s a lovely puzzle Could have been done a little better.
Gabriele R.
I really enjoyed the experience of building this puzzle. The image is beautiful and I love the conservation aspect as well.
Caroline
Great quality and beautiful colors. Given as a gift so will comment more when I see it completed
Customer
Simply beautiful, and a fun (plus rewarding) challenge
Customer
Puzzles have so many excellent and unique puzzles it was difficult to choose just one (so we got 2!). They are great quality, the art work is beautiful and they are lots of fun to work on. Highly recommend checking them out!
Gina Z.
THIS PUZZLE WAS SO FUN!! I finished it in around 3 hours and it was definitely on the harder side due to the similar shapes and shades of the puzzle, but it scratched my brain in all the right ways. I would say the only potential downside is that the is a slight layer of ash on some of the pieces, and there is a slight smell of burnt wood, but honestly it just added to the experience. It was nothing a small towel wipe couldn’t fix! I’ll exclusively be asking for these puzzles as future gifts!
Daniel H.
I knew that I would enjoy it, what I didn't know was just how much fun it would be. The best puzzling experience ever! I love the fact that a portion goes to a cause and supporting a local artist.
Alexandra R.
Great puzzle, but some of the pieces were broken
Maryanna Y.
This was tricky and I loved the challenge! And it's really really pretty. I've been debating whether or not I want to officially frame it or keep it for future puzzle building.
Alexandra
It was hard, but satisfying when done
Ross L.
It was just the right amount of challenge and it turned into a beautiful art piece I'm thinking about framing to display on my wall :)
Customer
The hardest puzzle I have done so far. It was fun to do and very unique. Whale shaped pieces to make a whale puzzle :) The quality of the pieces is great too and best of all its made by canadian artists in Canada. Would definitely recommend and buy another one.
Tonya N.
Four of us had fun putting it together. Took part of a day. Some tricky parts. Loved your store . Very clever presentation.thank you for being a blessing. The Neiders
Brian S.
Great quality puzzle (but hard to do!). Lots of fun and a beautiful picture.
Jeanine Y.
Beautiful art and well made puzzle! I love how the shapes of the pieces are orcas like the picture. I love how the edges aren’t smooth to make it a little more difficult. I’m not sure my sky was put together correctly, you just have to go by color because all pieces physically match. The edge pieces are slightly different. Challenging, but not too difficult. I did the puzzle in 4 hours. I highly recommend this puzzle!
Pam W.
This puzzle was so much fun to put together. It was a challenge because there weren't straight edges, but that's what added to the fun. Very well made and highly recommend!
Customer
Wow! I love putting together puzzles— this one felt different than any other puzzle I’ve ever attempted! It was a challenging joy to piece together. There are only three or four different shapes— all in the shape of a whale. Usually the edges are the easiest part— not with this work of art!
Swirls of sunrise on the water with cascading hues of the mountains and early morning sky surround the orca popping up to see the view. I love this puzzle!!
Jenna L.
Awesome puzzle! Very fun to put together.
Ellen Godbey C.
Lovely picture, pieces are cut the shape of dolphins, with identically shaped pieces. The colors in the lower half of the puzzle are so subtle that it's difficult to tell if you have any piece in the right place. Some may find that to be a fun challenge. I enjoy difficult puzzles, but this one could be a head-ached for many because it doesn't have sufficient color differences in the bottom half to assure you have pieces in the right place.
Janet H.
Really love the puzzle. Beautiful graphic and even love the smell. This is my second of your puzzles. I did notice with this one that some of the tails in the whales are very small and have broken. Have glued them back together so hoping it’s lasts for awhile.
BRODY C.
A joy to put together. Quite a unique puzzle.
Customer
Stunning high quality puzzle. Beautiful and well thought design.

As this is a gift for our son, we cannot write a proper review from him, but we absolutely love your product and cannot wait to give it to him for his 40th birthday in November. He lived in Canada for 3 years and has family here, so we know he will love the pictures. Thank you.
Laurie G.
Just received my puzzle “Rise”. It’s so challenging and beautiful at the same time! I can’t wait to frame this one! I Love It
Customer
Challenging and original puzzle! Really enjoyable and fun. The pieces were from good quality wood and the box was crafted with detail.
Customer
This puzzle is gorgeous and amazing. I absolutely love it!
Customer
Such a beautiful piece of art & the challenge was definitely there! Had such a fun time with Rise & took me about 1.5 hours to complete! Framing it up at home soon :)
Sonja E.
We hadn't done a puzzle in years, but the artwork and the fundraising aspect of this puzzle caught our attention and we decided it would be an enjoyable thing to do during Covid. We loved it - the quality of the puzzle, the challenge of putting it together, and the beautiful result.
Customer
We bought it for a family afternoon activity and it was fun. It took us a few hours to complete with our adult children.
Brian Forbes C.
I received this puzzle as a gift and it is so lovely! It was a small and fairly quick puzzle to do, but I loved the whale shaped pieces and surprise of no "edges" which gave a neat wave look to it! I like the design of the puzzle being made from the featured shape. :)
Brenda H.
My daughter and 2 granddaughters love it!
It was an early Easter gift
Customer
What great fun the puzzle was to do and the lovely scent of wood as I worked.
It took me a bit of time to figure it out, with it's secrets being revealed as I worked.
I will share it with friends get it back and keep on sharing.
It is too bad that it does not have a frame. Then I could mount it on the wall.
Thank you for all the work you went through to creat it.
Cheers Mary
Tracy B.
I purchased the puzzle for my Sister.
Sue V.
Love the whale shaped pieces…..it is challenging in a fun way.
Holly L.
I purchased this for twin granddaughters that visited us last summer, from ON. We went whale watching out of Campbell River, so I knew this would mean something to them. They said they are really enjoying it
Dee E.
Great challenging puzzle. Put it in my BnB for guest to tackle. Di’s art work is awesome
Dorothea R.
The overall picture is beautiful. I love the vibrant pink and orange colours. The idea of all the pieces being shaped as miniature orcas is brilliant. But, as a senior, the pieces are a bit too small and too close in colour and size to each other. My Mom & I broke off small pieces on the tails when we had to undo orcas interlocked into the wrong position. Would prefer to have a photo of the completed puzzle with all of the wavy edges included with the puzzle. Would have been better in a larger overall size (maybe twice as big)?
For a simpler version, include a frame with straight edges?
Thanks for the beautiful artwork and nice cloth bag. Great to see no plastic used.
Also for a good cause.
Cindy E.
Not yet finished. It is challenging but so far appears to be worth it.
Kate C.
I bought this as a gift for a friend who absolutely loved it. Beautiful image by Art by Di and intriguing design of puzzle pieces making it a little more challenging than usual. My friend is having the finished puzzle framed and will hand it with care in her home.
Caleb J.
super challenging puzzle. no straight edges or corners to start from and every piece fits into every other so takes a lot of scrutiny to make sure each piece is correctly placed. 2 pieces were missing though, which was a bummer. =/
