Yesterday morning, a new 50% U.S. tariff took effect on a range of Canadian products, including puzzles. It’s a big change, especially for small Canadian businesses and the customers who support them. But Puzzle Lab has always been about bringing people together, so naturally, that’s how we’re approaching this moment too. 🫶

🇺🇸 To our U.S. customers: we’re going splitsies

We love our American puzzle community, and we don’t think you should have to carry this entire burden alone. For eligible orders shipping to the U.S., Puzzle Lab is applying an automatic 20% discount to our products to help offset about half of the tariff burden. Sharing the load feels like the fairest way forward; we’re in this together.

What you’ll see at checkout:

Shopify doesn’t give us a way to reduce or split the government-calculated Duties line itself, so the full duty amount will still appear in your cart. Instead, you’ll see an automatic discount called TARIFF-SPLITSIES applied directly to each eligible product. That lower product subtotal is how we’re contributing our share and offsetting the duties shown below it. No discount code is required.
