Kasi Béans

Kasi Béans is a Victoria-based multimedia artist with deep roots in craft and a practice grounded in sculpture, experimentation, and joy. Her work explores the intersection of the exquisite and the absurd, inviting viewers to look beyond the obvious and embrace moments of surprise, humour, and delight.

Influenced by bold pop art aesthetics and the oversized creativity of childhood (with early inspiration from Art Attack), Kasi is drawn to vibrant, sometimes shocking forms—often realized at an ambitious scale. With interests that are constantly evolving, she has worked across an eclectic range of materials including cardboard, silver, glass, textiles, wood, food, and paint.

Kasi finds creative satisfaction in blending materials & concepts in unexpected ways and pushing the boundaries of artistic expression. A self-described playologist, Kasi’s life mission is to study the art of play and remind others to bring whimsy, curiosity, and fun into everyday life.
